A fatal attraction to cuteness

UrbanOutfitters, Waterfall Ruffle Duvet Cover, $148.00

UrbanOutfitters, Cupcake Pedestal Vanity Stand, $18.00

UrbanOutfitters, Doll House Jewelry Stand, $68.00

The internet is a very bad, very evil place, filled with the wonderful world online shopping. Anyways.... I've needed new summer blankets and a comforter for the winter for a while now. I found the Waterfall Ruffle on the UrbanOutfitters website just a few minutes ago and I absolutely love it! It just seems so vintage, parisian, and girly all at the same time.

The Cup Cake Pedestal reminds me of the Juicy Couture stores where every countertop has jars filled with colorful and bright candy. I've always wanted to try that for my room or get a jewelry hold like this.

The Doll House Jewelry stand is very quirky, fun, and interesting. It kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and when I was younger when I would stack all my backyard chairs and try to sit on the top one.  :)

Just so you don't start thinking I've gone M.I.A. on wednesday, I'll be going to the city for a Betsey Johnson sample sale! I'm really excited about this! When I went over the summer I got cardigans that were in stores for $250! I also got a really cute makeup bag/clutch for $15 that was being sold in stores for $45.
Enjoy the rest of your monday!

Been there, done that, messed around-La Roux

liking the new header??

Yesterday and today's weather was absolutely gorgeous! 60 degree weather two weeks after a foot of snow. These pictures are from a few hours ago, I did my homework outside, took out my fave mag, and listened to my iPod. I guess you could say life is good and spring is almost here!

I meant to post about my weekend last night but I was so exhausted. Friday night I saw Alice in Wonderland. It was very good yet, not what I expected.
**SPOILER ALERT** scroll past the next paragraph if you do not want to read my review of the movie

The setting takes place about thirteen years after Alice's first adventure in 'Wonderland'. She is at a party which is secretly being held in her honor because she is about to be proposed to. Even though she is meant to marry the man, she doesn't really like him because in many ways he doesn't appreciate her. When he proposes in a gazebo in front of the whole party to see, she says she has to think about it and runs away into a garden where she follows the white rabbit that she was fascinated with before, down a hole and into wonderland. From there the rest of the movie takes off. If you've read the book you'll notice many things and chapters. The initial problem is that the Red Queen has control of Wonderland and no one is happy with that and live in fear of being beheaded. In order for Wonderland to go back to normal(the way it was under the White Queen's reign) Alice must defeat the Jabberwocky. The film was beautifully done and definately a Tim Burton.

Credits to aceshowbiz.com for the movie pictures.

Saturday night I had a party and I know your going to laugh

Alright well, I'm guessing you laughed but I just wanted to post the outfit and it wasn't really the best picture of me. I'm really trying to get better outfit pictures so just bear with me!

Thanks so muchness!

Okay, I may not have a lot of readers(really just a few) but this means so much to me!  As promised I have my outfit post of what I wore today.

Cardigan: UrbanOutfitters for $30
Tank: Pacsun, I think it was on sale for $6
Shorts: Avril Lavigne, Abbey Dawn, for Kohls can't remember how much I got them a few years ago
(awesome glittery)Tights: American Eagle for around $12-$15
Converse: $30
Necklaces: Juicy Couture initial D $48 and UrbanOutfitters Butterfly for $18

These are my absolute favorite tights! This may sound strange, and no, I don't think I have wide legs, but, where ever your leg is the widest the tights become more opaque and it makes it look like the shimmer is on the sides. I couldn't really capture that in the pictures, its really just the way your eye views it. obsessed

Ever since I did that Alice in Wonderland post two weeks ago, I've been obsessed with everything to do with the story. I've even taken the books out of the library, which may seem silly but I never read them in my childhood or seen the whole original movie. I finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and I'm up to Through the Looking Glass. As for the Urban Decay Palette, I haven't been able to find it anywhere except for ebay but I'm a little skeptical with buying makeup there. The nail polish I ordered the mini set from amazon and it arrived on friday. So far I've only tried the color Mad as a Hatter but I think it will be my favorite from this set.

It was hard to get a good picture but when you look at the full glitter, the over all color is purple.
If the nail polish, eye shadows, jewelry(I haven't mentioned but swarvoski and disney couture made some pieces) weren't enough, I found the movie soundtrack called Almost Alice, which happens to have some of my favorite bands on it! Here are some links to my faves

I also bought these bracelets at American Eagle today
These are very basic but I always have bracelets and rings on my hands and I needed to change my bracelets up a little bit. Both were $12.50 but it was buy two get 50% off.

It may not be this week but I'm thinking of some new layout and color ideas for here.
Thanks for reading!

Curiouser and Curiouser

Okay, I may be a little late on this one but I cannot stop thinking about Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows. The pallete includes some of  Urbans best-selling colors ranging from neutrals to bright blues and purples. The colors are re-named to go along with Alice in Wonderland theme. The pallete also includes two eye pencils and they're best-seilling eye shadow Primer Potion. Bringing it all together is a pop up scene when you open the pallete.

Seeing this made me curios if there were any other 'Alice' products so I searched it up and found O.P.I.'s own 'Alice in Wonderland Collection'
Colors(in order): 'Off With Her Red,' 'Mad as a Hatter,' 'Absolutely Alice,' and 'Thanks so Muchness.'

Versace's Spring 2010 Ready To Wear has some Alice in Wonderland inspired pieces

All of the pics from the Versace show are from Style.com

The movie is set to open on March 5th and I am very excited! I am also very excited for my snow day tomorrow. I'm supposed to be getting around 16ft! Anyways, I ordered a Holga 120CFN a few weeks ago and I finally got to take it out over the weekend. It's very interesting. I can't even tell if it's really takeing the picture! I'm looking for a place to get my film developed so hopefully my results are good.
