Call me BLAIR

Or not. I just think the headband I wore today captures the whole Blair Waldorf/Gossip Girl look.

Sorry the pics aren't so clear. I was too lazy and didn't feel like adjusting the iso.

Cardigan: American Eagle last year for around $25 or $30. This is my wardrobe staple I wear this all the time.
Tank: Known around here as sugarlips, got it at a local store for $12 I think.
Skirt: Romeo and Juliet Couture from Annie Sez. $50. This is definitley one of my favorite buys this year. You can't really tell in the pics but its all sequins.
Tights: Kensie from Annie Sez. Can't remember how much. I tried to get good detail pictures of them, but it has a sheer floral print.
Head Band(see below): Forever21
Belt: Forever21

Detail in skirt

'Blair Waldorf/Gossip Girlish' Head Band
(my rooms a mess sorry :p)

Detail in tights(it was hard to get a clear picture because of the color and the detail is small)

Those are just some of my favorite Blair Waldorf Head Bands

When I was back to school shopping over the summer, I was in Free People and automatically became obssesed with this headband! It's not much in the picture but it's really nice in person. I wish I bought it but it was around $30 and I wanted to use more money on clothes rather than acessories at the time.

What a boring 3 day weekend this has been. I've just been hanging around watching re-runs of Jersey Shore and anything else on MTV. At the moment it's Takeing the Stage, season 1 I think. Well my weekend hasn't been all that bad. Saturday night I had dance and yesturday I went to the mall. Which, I am very happy to say that I finally found something to wear something to the Lady GaGa concert that I'm going to next Sunday! Did I mention that before? I'm so excited that I have tickets! Anyways back to what I bought

Surprisingly, I found this skirt at Abercrombie and Fitch on sale for $25. It was 50% off of $50 which was on sale from $88. It may not look appealing off but it's really nice on.

I'm not really sure what I want to wear with it, but I'm thinking of a plain black quarter sleeves top with sheer black tights. I'm not sure about the shoes or acessories yet but please leave some suggestions!

I meant to post this outfit last week but I was just too tired and I had a lot going on in and out of school.

Jacket: Freedom 2be, got it at Marshalls for around $25 or $30
Top: Element from Pacsun for $25. This top is realyl cool because the overall color is purple but when you look closely its a tri blend which is really nice.
Leggings: I don't know what brand but I got it a 2 Cute for $7 I think.
Neclace: Forever 21, I can't remember how much.

Tonight on MTV it's the season premiere of the Buried Life. The show has a very interesting yet simple concept. Make a list of things that you want to do before you die and accomplish it by helping others. If I had to make a list right now it wouldn't really consist of much. Probably just spend that day biking the countryside in France or seeing the eiffel tower. The show premieres tonight at 10 Eastern Time.

Top: American Apparel Tri-Blend Light Weight Raglan Pullover in Black $35 in store but got it on eBay for $15(yes it is authentic)
Belt: Forever 21. I got it 2 years ago so I can't remember the price
Jeans: Hydraulic Extremely Slim Nikki fit. I got them at Marshalls a while ago so I can't remember the price
Uggs: Got them off of Zappos for $125 I think
Necklace: Eiffel Tower from forever21. Can't remember the price

Inspiration for this outfit came from the 'Little Ladies' shoot from teenvogue

(pic from teenvogue.com)

I liked how the girl on the right wears a dark cardigan but wears really bright belts to make the whole thing just pop.

May I re-introduce myself?

To be honest, I'm not so sure how this blog will turn out. This is my third attempt and I'm hoping I will stick with it. Third times a charm right?

If you're looking for a picture of the most recent Jimmy Choo's I bought then don't look here. Let's face the reality and realize that I'm not going to spend $495 on these flats.
http://www.jimmychoo.com/WESTERN/invt/091westernnap Even though every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway, I'd rather spend $495 on multiple things(clothes, clothes, and more clothes :p).

If I could only tell you one thing about myself it would be I love to shop. Urban O, Free People, Forever 21, American Apparel, and Nordstrom are my faves. My favorite designers are Betsey Johnson and Marc Jacobs. I have a passion for fashion, dance, and photography.

I hope to share new finds, buys, outfits, photography, and more.

Yours truly,
Dani
