I started my first day of FIT summer live today and this is what I wore. I actually wore this on the fourth too, and I had my hair in pig tails which made me look like a flower child :p

Anyways, my classes seem interesting! I'm still taking middle school because I thought I would be more comfortable with that because I won't be in high school until this september. My first class is Fashion Print Design, It's basically just creating/printing our own graphic designs. My second class is Hot Fashion Trends, which is a design class where I'll be able to practice drawing figures more and designing  based on my newest favorite trends.

So  I was doing some research and in order to create a couture collection, or to declare a fashion house a couture house, you need to be a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.

these are the guidelines

• Design made-to-order for private clients, with one or more fittings.
• Have a workshop (atelier) in Paris that employs at least fifteen people full-time.
• Each season (i.e., twice a year), present a collection to the Paris press, comprising at least thirty-five runs/exits with outfits for both daytime wear and evening wear.

So I was in Nordstrom today when I spotted this glittering object out of the corner of my eye. When I turned to look I swear I saw the most beautiful pair of shoes I have ever seen in my life! Don't get me wrong, I love some  great looking   shoes but I have never fell in love with a pair like this. The picture does not do it justice but these are absolutely gorgeous!!! The glitter and shine on it is eye opening. Ugh, I really wish I had some sort of excuse to buy them.

My cousins outfit is a plain white tee, Romeo and Juliet Couture skirt, target leggings, converse, Forever21 Headband, Forever21 necklace, Forever21 sunglasses, Claires pink glove, and Claires Glitter

One of my goals this summer is to make my way onto lookbook. Hopefully the idea isn't totally out there :p
