Just one of those weeks...

I am so sick and tired of this lousy weather! I'm not prepared for the rain at all; I don't have rain boots! I've been thinking about getting a pair of Hunter rain boots but they're pricey at about $125 and really not that special

But I flipped out when I discovered these five minutes ago,
These are Marc Jacobs only sold in stores, rain boots. To make this even more amazing they're ONLY $28! What do you guys think? Which ones do you like better? Leave suggestions if you've seen any good ones!

Thanks so muchness!

Okay, I may not have a lot of readers(really just a few) but this means so much to me!  As promised I have my outfit post of what I wore today.

Cardigan: UrbanOutfitters for $30
Tank: Pacsun, I think it was on sale for $6
Shorts: Avril Lavigne, Abbey Dawn, for Kohls can't remember how much I got them a few years ago
(awesome glittery)Tights: American Eagle for around $12-$15
Converse: $30
Necklaces: Juicy Couture initial D $48 and UrbanOutfitters Butterfly for $18

These are my absolute favorite tights! This may sound strange, and no, I don't think I have wide legs, but, where ever your leg is the widest the tights become more opaque and it makes it look like the shimmer is on the sides. I couldn't really capture that in the pictures, its really just the way your eye views it. obsessed

Ever since I did that Alice in Wonderland post two weeks ago, I've been obsessed with everything to do with the story. I've even taken the books out of the library, which may seem silly but I never read them in my childhood or seen the whole original movie. I finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and I'm up to Through the Looking Glass. As for the Urban Decay Palette, I haven't been able to find it anywhere except for ebay but I'm a little skeptical with buying makeup there. The nail polish I ordered the mini set from amazon and it arrived on friday. So far I've only tried the color Mad as a Hatter but I think it will be my favorite from this set.

It was hard to get a good picture but when you look at the full glitter, the over all color is purple.
If the nail polish, eye shadows, jewelry(I haven't mentioned but swarvoski and disney couture made some pieces) weren't enough, I found the movie soundtrack called Almost Alice, which happens to have some of my favorite bands on it! Here are some links to my faves

I also bought these bracelets at American Eagle today
These are very basic but I always have bracelets and rings on my hands and I needed to change my bracelets up a little bit. Both were $12.50 but it was buy two get 50% off.

It may not be this week but I'm thinking of some new layout and color ideas for here.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo

Yesterday I took a trip into the city and somberly looked on at the tents in Bryant Park. One day I will be there. Instead I walked all the way to the Museum of Modern Art from Penn Station. Art may not be my thing but I loved their photography exhibition for Avadon. After, I took the E downtown to Greenwhich village and had a late lunch at Peanut Butter and Co. I'm not a Peanut Butter person but OMG they have amazing sanwhichs there! I had the Cinnamon Raisin Swirl which contains Cinnamon-Raisin Peanut Butter and vanilla cream cheese, with  apple slices. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They make and sell their own peanut butter so if your interested, http://ilovepeanutbutter.com/index.php.  Anyways I've pretty much been a slacker and haven't done any coverage on New York Fashion Week what so ever. But that doesn't mean I haven't been looking at the collections!

This is my favorite collection for fall by far! It's very Paris chic inspired and I love the pop of colors in the tights and the Pea Coats paired with skirts.

I might be off to the city again to visit TopShop but I'm not sure yet. Tomorrow I should have a New Buys post so please keep reading!

R.I.P Alexander Mcqueen

Just found out a few minutes ago and I'm kinda shocked. I just read this article on Yahoo http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_britain_obit_mcqueen

All of these are from his Spring 2010 Ready to Wear collection. All pictures are from style.com
Lady GaGa in her 'Bad Romance' Video is wearing the look above.(Picture not from style.com)

McQueen was only 40 years old when he passed away today.

May his designs live on and he rest in peace.

Curiouser and Curiouser

Okay, I may be a little late on this one but I cannot stop thinking about Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows. The pallete includes some of  Urbans best-selling colors ranging from neutrals to bright blues and purples. The colors are re-named to go along with Alice in Wonderland theme. The pallete also includes two eye pencils and they're best-seilling eye shadow Primer Potion. Bringing it all together is a pop up scene when you open the pallete.

Seeing this made me curios if there were any other 'Alice' products so I searched it up and found O.P.I.'s own 'Alice in Wonderland Collection'
Colors(in order): 'Off With Her Red,' 'Mad as a Hatter,' 'Absolutely Alice,' and 'Thanks so Muchness.'

Versace's Spring 2010 Ready To Wear has some Alice in Wonderland inspired pieces

All of the pics from the Versace show are from Style.com

The movie is set to open on March 5th and I am very excited! I am also very excited for my snow day tomorrow. I'm supposed to be getting around 16ft! Anyways, I ordered a Holga 120CFN a few weeks ago and I finally got to take it out over the weekend. It's very interesting. I can't even tell if it's really takeing the picture! I'm looking for a place to get my film developed so hopefully my results are good.
