"Tell me what you know about dreamin, dreamin"- Kid Cudi

Overall I think I had a pretty good memorial day weekend except for yesterday but I'll explain that in a post later on. Anyways on Saturday my grandma took me to see Don Quixote, a ballet at the American Ballet Theater.  I thought we were going to a different theater that's not as nice so I didn't really dress up but I would've worn something nicer if I had known.
Top: Top Shop, $50
Jeans: Forever 21, $9.50
Gladiators: Lovely People, $60.00
Head Band: Forever21
Bag: Vintage Gucci
Before I discovered my love for fashion, dance was the one thing that I had always loved. It still is and I want to take classes as long as I can. But fashion is the way I want to go.

I didn't have time to take any outfit pictures for my cultural arts luncheon but here's a picture of me with my photography!  Most of these pictures can be viewed in either the New York City or Photography tabs above. Art seems to be all around me lately. When people look at my photography they immediately assume that this is the path I'm taking in life. Of course I love photography but I know I belong in the fashion industry. Who knows, maybe I'll end up a fashion photographer.

I don't really love this song but I love the beginning sounds.

"These Big City Dreams are what you're about"-NeverShoutNever

This post is gonna be a quickie! I started my first weekend at F.I.T. and I loved it! I'm taking drawing from inspiration. I'm really not the best drawer but what ever. This will look good on my college record right? Anyways here's what I wore....
I look thrilled right? Hahaha it was so cold and rainy out today!
Top: Top Shop
Skirt: Forever21
Tights: American Eagle
Jacket: Marshalls
Beret: Forever21
Shoes: Doc Martens

I got my Doc Martens last year but I don't really wear them all that often so they give me bad blisters every time I wear them!
More NeverShoutNever anyone?

I've officially started the fourth and final quarter of the school year and the next couple of weeks I'm going to be really busy! I'm definitely not going to delete/shut down the blog so don't worry! I have a lot of ideas for posts but I don't know how often I'll be able to post them.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Summer Lovin'

(these pictures were featured on topshop.com. they are not mine!)

Spring might have just started but my mind is already set on summer. The crazy thing about fashion is that you're always buying for the next season. In summer you're buying for fall, fall you're buying for winter, winter for spring, and spring for summer. This always makes me anticipate the next season. As I'm trying to enjoy this complicated/bipolar spring,(one day 85 degrees the next 60 and rainy) I can't help looking forward to Summer! Anyways, topshop has introduced four new Spring/Summer Collections.

(in order from top-bottom in pictures)
Summer Fete(my favorite)
Festival Army
Body Armour(least favorite)
Club Tropicana

These are some of my top picks from each collection:

Summer Fete

These kinda remind me of being in kindergarten when my mom would put badges and colorful paint gels all over my jeans.
Club Tropicana

Festival Army
Body Armour
I thought this collection was too neutral for spring or summer

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I meant to post about my weekend last night but I was so exhausted. Friday night I saw Alice in Wonderland. It was very good yet, not what I expected.
**SPOILER ALERT** scroll past the next paragraph if you do not want to read my review of the movie

The setting takes place about thirteen years after Alice's first adventure in 'Wonderland'. She is at a party which is secretly being held in her honor because she is about to be proposed to. Even though she is meant to marry the man, she doesn't really like him because in many ways he doesn't appreciate her. When he proposes in a gazebo in front of the whole party to see, she says she has to think about it and runs away into a garden where she follows the white rabbit that she was fascinated with before, down a hole and into wonderland. From there the rest of the movie takes off. If you've read the book you'll notice many things and chapters. The initial problem is that the Red Queen has control of Wonderland and no one is happy with that and live in fear of being beheaded. In order for Wonderland to go back to normal(the way it was under the White Queen's reign) Alice must defeat the Jabberwocky. The film was beautifully done and definately a Tim Burton.

Credits to aceshowbiz.com for the movie pictures.

Saturday night I had a party and I know your going to laugh
